There is nothing that screams halloween more than costumes. And when I decided to make a bunch of gnome costumes for halloween, I knew a pirate gnome no-sew gnome pattern would be first on my list.
Super easy and quick to work-up, this easy gnome prate is customizable for so much more than walking the plank. This would be a great gnome to go along with a mermaid gnome, a Peter Pan gnome, or even a generalized beach themed entryway. Psst: the secret ingredient to this gnome is the 7″ Styrofoam cone. You can make this pattern work for other gnome bodies, however, this is built for the cone.
And be sure to click here and check out how to use this pirate gnome pattern to make your own gnome!
EDITED TO ADD: The pattern has been updated to add a fun and easy pattern for gnome Fancy Pants! Yes, a tutorial is now included in this pattern for gnome pants that will fit a 7-inch cone gnome, the Tucked Gnome Pattern (our most popular no-sew gnome pattern) AND the Cozy Gnome Pattern from Ruffles and Rain Boots. These pants make any gnome with legs a little more, well, dressed.
